iOS || How to create your first iOS build ?

With the new iOS app builder, you can preview the changes you make to your app in real-time.

Graphy lets you create apps in two steps -

  • Customize your app.
  • Configure the app builder settings.

Go to the left nav > Select Mobile App > App builder. 



Click on ‘Start building' to initiate customization and configuration of your mobile app. 



The Preview panel lets you -

  • view the changes made on the right side.
  • change and visualize different screens from the drop-down menu.

Note: Content inside the preview panel is dummy.

 

Customize your app

App customization is the first milestone to create the app. To build your app follow the steps we have mentioned below.

Note: To preview iOS, click the iOS icon right below Android icon.

 

Name your app

Enter a 'Name' for your app.

 

Upload launcher icon

Click ‘Upload' to add an image for the launcher icon of your app.


Note: The maximum size of the image in PNG format is 1024 x 1024 pixels and 1MB.

 

 

Upload notification icon

Click ‘Upload' to add an image for the notification icon of your app.

Tip: The notification icon is auto-generated. You can either keep the auto-generated icon or upload a new image.

 

Note: The maximum size of the image in PNG format is 72 x 72 pixels and 1MB.

 

Customize app color

Now, choose a ‘Color' that matches your brand. 


 

Upload Splash screens

Add a ‘splash screen’ that will appear as you load the app. It will help you to create an introduction page for your app. You can also select a splash screen from the suggestions we've provided.


Tip: Splash screen is auto-generated. You can either keep the auto-generated image or choose to upload a different image. 



To add an image/GIF, click ‘Upload.’

 

Note: The maximum size of the image in PNG format is 1280 x 1920 pixels in 2MB. And the maximum size of the GIF in PNG format is 1280 x 1920 pixels in 5MB.


 

Add Onboarding screens (Optional)

Adding onboarding screens can help learners get a walkthrough of your app.

Click ‘Upload' to embed an image/GIF to the onboarding screen.


Note: The maximum size of the image in PNG format is 1280x1920 pixels in 2 MB. Also, you can upload up to 5 images for Onboarding screens.

 

 

Now click ‘Next' to follow the steps to ‘Configure the 'app builder settings.’

Set App Data

Under App data, enter the App Bundle ID


 

Congratulations! Your iOS build is ready now. Once your build is created, you need to create an app entry on App Store.
