In this article, we'll guide you with a step-by-step process to integrate Google Analytics within your online course platform.

Google Analytics is a FREE tool that allows you to track and analyze critical data on your website and site visitors. If you haven't set up your Google Analytics account yet, click here.

Integrate Google Analytics on your Graphy Course platform

Step 1: Click on Integrations from the left navigation bar and navigate to the Third-Party Integrations. On the Third-Party Integrations page, you will see Google Analytics integration at the top.

Google Site Verification Code

  • You need to enter "Google Site Verification Code" in the first column. This code helps you to integrate your Graphy course platform with Google Search Console.
  • Head to Search Console to generate your Google verification code.  For the whole process, refer to this guide
  • Once you obtain the code, copy it & paste it here!

Integrating your Google Analytics 4

  • Please note that initially, Graphy provided the option to integrate Google Universal Analytics Code. Now you can integrate Google Analytics 4 Code as well.
  • You now have the option to use either of them.
  • However, we recommend Google Analytics 4 Code over Google Universal Analytics Code.

Integrating your Google Analytics 4 Code with your Graphy Course Platform would help you to track certain events on Google Analytics when it gets triggered on your course platform.

Graphy allows the following types of events currently on its platform.

                   EVENTS
                            TRIGGER
view_item
When a user views a course/Package Landing page
add_to_cart
When a user adds items to the cart.
begin_checkout
When a user clicks on the "Pop-up Checkout Button" in case of the OTP & "Enroll Course Button" in case of Recurring.
add_payment_info
When a user clicks on proceed to payment.
purchase
When a user completes a purchase or adds a FREE course.
remove_from_cart
When a user removes items from a cart.

Please note that in the case of "Recurring Payment" or "Membership Sites" the "add_to_cart" event won't be triggered.
