This article tells you how to restrict device login limits and enable content security features.

Content security features are essential for the protection and unlawful distribution of your course content.

Steps to enable content security features

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Security

Limit usage

Under 'Security', you will find the 'Limit Usage' section. Through this section, you can put in the individual as well as the combined restriction on the web and mobile app login per user.

Device limit for user login: Under the 'Separate' option fill in the maximum number of devices from which your learners can log in on the web and mobile app.

If you set the limit to '1', learners will be able to log in from one web browser and one mobile app.

Combined limit:
In this option, you can put in the combined login limit for both the tab as well as the mobile app for learners.

Delete

Note: If you set the number to '0', it implies that learners can access your courses through an unlimited number of devices.

Enable two factor authentication for admins:

Through this toggle, you can choose to allow Admins for two-factor authentication. This is a two-step verification process for admins.

No. of devices learners can download a course on:

This option allows you to restrict the no. of devices learners can download a course on.

Limiting this to 1 device is recommended.

Restrict access to offline content in:

Specify the maximum number of days any student can access downloaded content without logging into the platform.

Watermark content

Dynamic watermark places a user's email, page URL, and mobile number on course items like PDFs. This can help in identifying the learner who's copying or screen recording your content.

Watermark color:

Choose the color of the watermark by clicking on the color bar.

Fixed position:

This option allows you to put a unique learner id in the middle of your PDFs.

On videos:

Static Watermark : This option allows you to give the user's details as a watermark on your video course items as fixed.

Dynamic watermark : This option allows you to give the user's details as a watermark on your video course items, just like a PDF watermark.

There are two types :

Display watermark for: specify how long you want to display the watermark.

Display watermark after every: specify the duration between two continuous watermark displays.

Enable playback of videos on iOS browsers like Safari (not secure)

Please note by changing this security setting, your video encryption key will be exposed. It can be used by hackers to download your video content. For the best security, we recommend keeping this setting disabled and using the iOS app for Apple device learners.
